600 cold emails, 4 countries, 1 funded PhD in Poland — and a broken system that inspired everything.

A letter from our founder

I sent over 600 cold emails to professors across the globe.

Coming from a third-tier university, my transcript alone wouldn't open doors. It was exhausting, demoralizing, and deeply inefficient. I spent months tailoring CVs, writing personalized messages, refreshing my inbox — and hearing nothing back.

Three of my closest friends gave up. Brilliant researchers who couldn't break through the noise. The system filtered them out — not by talent, but by geography.

I eventually secured 4 fully funded offers across 4 countries — and chose Poland, where I'm now pursuing my PhD. But the system shouldn't be this hard.

So we gathered 5,000+ students facing the same struggle and started building the platform we wished existed.
